Office Policies


New Patients Always Welcomed

New Patient Appointments & Nephrology Consultations:

To schedule an appointment call 707-252-8407.

Our staff will schedule your appointment and provide you with the necessary paperwork.

Cancellations

We ask that if you are unable to keep an appointment, you give 24 hours' notice. By doing so, you allow another patient to use that appointment slot.

Emergencies

We provide on-call services after business hours, 7 days a week for emergencies. Please call 707-252-8407 and one of our physicians will be contacted immediately. If you feel you are having a life threatening emergency, you should always immediately call 911.

Billing Department

Anytime you have a question regarding your insurance or billing statement, call our billing department at 707-252-8407 and they will be happy to answer your questions and provide any necessary assistance.

Prescription Refills

Local Pharmacy Refills:

Call your pharmacy for a refill. They will fax us the necessary information. The prescription will be reviewed and faxed back. All prescriptions take 24 - 48 hours to refill. If the prescription needs extensive review it can take longer. It is very important you call your pharmacy for a refill several days before you run out of your medication. You may want to call your pharmacy to check that your prescription is ready before making any unnecessary trips out. If you call the pharmacy the day you run out of your medication it is highly unlikely your prescription will be ready that same day.

Mail Away Prescriptions:

If you have prescriptions that get mailed away, please allow 7-10 working days for the necessary forms to be completed. It is very important you plan ahead with mail away prescriptions to allow us adequate time to get all the paperwork completed. In addition, our office policy requires our patients to be seen on an annual basis, at a minimum, if they are on prescription medication.
